Each grape genetically has potential that will be expressed at different levels depending on seasonal soil and climate variables and the agronomic and enological actions taken. Through correct actions the potential will be able to be maximally extrinsic.
Today, the non-linear climatic change oscillating from drought years to extremely rainy years, generates great problems at every latitude.
Recurrent abiotic stresses, lead to sudden changes in the physiological balances of the vine, generating grapes with technological parameters that are difficult to manage in the winery. This creates innumerable difficulties in the pursuit of set oenological objectives, which, in some cases, we try to standardize instead.
In this general context, Experti through the EXPERTIfield Division, wants to be at the side of Oenologists, Agronomists and Producers to provide solutions that can ensure the prevention, containment and resolution of problems related to climate change starting from the vineyard.
Through the Network of Technicians present on some of Europe’s most important wine territories, we are present 365 days a year to assist our clients in making the most appropriate choices to achieve the oenological objectives sought.
Together with them, we evaluate the most appropriate actions to be taken to pursue future objectives. And each action is directly evaluated with both analysis and specific wine tastings resulting from precise programs.
We strongly believe in the close interconnection between Oenology and Viticulture to be enhanced through the continuous exchange of information between Oenologists and Agronomists.
For this reason, we have started a partnership project with a leading Italian company in the specific field of research and production, DIACHEM SpA.

By integrating the cutting-edge products and value-added technological services offered, we go about consolidating or restoring the physiological balances of the vine, guaranteeing them for the future. This is basic for dealing with the sudden biotic and abiotic pressures generated by climate change affecting grapes.
Uneven phenolic ripening and severely compromised fruit profiles in red wines are the consequence of physiological imbalances resulting from abiotic stresses, one of them being water scarcity.
Vertical aromatic complexities increasingly demanded by the market, are now highly fluctuating and excessively influenced by seasonal trends.
Preparing grapes through Enological Viticulture reasoned between Oenologists and Agronomists with the help of the range of solutions made available by EXPERTIfield, will allow for less invasiveness in the winery where instead we will implement choices that will enhance the composition of grapes specially prepared for the achievement of pre-determined oenological objectives.
The goal will be to strengthen the balances of physiological systems in vineyards through reasoned agronomic choices based on winery needs. Our R&D Staff in collaboration with the R&D of DIACHEM, has initiated a project of study and evaluation in the field and cellar, of the different solutions already available.
The goal is to achieve, through our expertise in oenology and DIACHEM’s agronomic expertise, a fusion of thought by concretizing it into a range of solutions increasingly dedicated to ensuring the preparation of grapes for precise oenological objectives.
EXPERTIfield‘s Oenological Viticulture programs, are generated in order to pursue the oenological objectives set by the producer. With the winery’s Enologist-Agronomist Team, our R&D staff defines which interventions to implement, assessing the needs of the specific winery-vineyard supply chain. The defined programs will be based on biostimulation and biocontrol solutions strictly from Italian production.
