AWRI Rosa is a strain selected in collaboration with the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI).
S. Cerevisiae strain producing floral aromas such as rose petal (2-phenylethanol and 2-phenylethyl acetate).
On white wines it enhances these particular rose notes, and on red and rosé wines it creates more complexity by bringing out the fresh red fruit.
