MICROOX
System for dosing oxygen in winemaking and aging.
It can be used for both macro oxygenation applications during grape winemaking and micro oxygenation applications during wine aging.
It can handle 2 to 4 outputs, each connected to a different tank. The settings on each outlet are independent.
Microox has three operating modes:
1 – Continuous delivery: for macro oxygenation applications in fermentation and micro oxygenation in maturation.In this mode, a controlled and continuous flow of oxygen is delivered; a counter shows on the display how long oxygenation has been in progress (value expressed in days, hours and minutes). The dose is expressed in mg/liter/day and mg/liter/month
2 – Single dose delivery: a defined amount of oxygen is delivered. The time in which the dose is delivered can be set, from a few minutes to several hours. The dose is expressed in mg/l
3 – Cliqueur mode dispensing: generates a very high flow for very short times (seconds or minutes). Suitable for very rapid treatments on barrels or tanks.Oxygen delivery is very precisely regulated.Settings are easy thanks to the presence of a display that allows all adjustments to be set and checked.The flow is continuous and constant, which ensures maximum effectiveness of the micro-oxygenation process.The system has a self-diagnostic feature to detect anomalies during operation (such as a spark plug occlusion or lack of oxygen) or errors to the delivery system.
